2017 Friendsgiving Brunch + Council 

Here's a sample of an invite from the voice of a teenager: 

"Want to come to a Friendsgiving thing with me this Saturday from 12-4? They're creating community programs for youth and teens in Boulder, and want to get our input. There's going to be good food, music, and a teen mentorship council to weigh in on what programs we want like a snowboarding club, flow arts, rites of passage... Let me know by Friday if you can make it."
 

Awakening Village is an effort to connect youth, families and mentors in Boulder County for greater psychosocial support! They say "it takes a village to raise a child, we say it takes a village to be a human"... WE ARE BUILDING THAT VILLAGE by developing events and programs built around council and rites of passage work (Read more at http://wesource.us/awakening-village)

Join us for a delicious catered brunch followed by activities for adults and children :) ~ details below, tentative schedule will be:
12:00-1:00 Brunch buffet and arrival
1:00 - 3:00 Community Council + Children's Activities
3:00 - 4:00 Group Activities

We're requesting a $10/plate donation to help us cover costs and encourage anyone who can to give more to sponsor families that can't afford to join and invest in the future of this effort!
